On December 26, 2022, My Wise mother-in-law passed away. It is a great honour to celebrate her great wisdom and accomplishments in this website that is devoted to the process of knowledge and wizening creation and dissimilation.
Even when the time and place did not encourage women to pursue education in Chana in the 1930s and 1940, not only did she go to school, but also completed her medical training and became a very well known and accomplished doctor. She practice medicine well into her 70s until a car accident disrupted her very successful professional practice. We will continue to celebrate her accomplishments and the three wonderful children she gave to the world.

Dr. Wu was born on March 16, 1930 .
Dr. Wu Worked in Government office before taking exam and going to Medical school and trained as an outstanding and successful doctor. Especially what is amazing is that it was very difficult even to go to school for girls in the 1940 and 1950 China leave alone train as a successful doctor. She was a trail blazer.
Early on in life when the time came, Dr Wu married Mr. Shen. As was customary at that the time, Dr. Wu married at an early age. This is remarkable for a professional who is still going to Medical School.
Over a space of six year, two boys and a girl were added to Dr. Wu and Mr. Shen's Family. Kequan is boxed in Between Keping and Keding..
Having a Boy as a first born was important to the family, especially to the mother who was able to deliver a boy who will continue the family's name.
As there was no restriction on the number of children to have, as it happened later on in China, the second born child was a girl - Kequan, the spice of the family. What a blessing to have a boy and a girl.
Dr. Wu and her family is not only blessed with only one, two but three children. Although it was very hard to raise three children in those days, however, it is a blessing to have them all.
As in the birth order of the first generation, the second generation started with Keping daughter Jinjin. Interestingly the second generation began with a girl.
The second Child in the second generation is ChiChi a daughter of Keding. Here the birth order did not keep up with the birth order of the children as Keding was Dr. Wu's third child.
Third Grand children are Boxi and Addesse, who are the daughter and son of Kequan.
